National Pet Month
It’s National Pet Month! Only fitting that we feature Zoey, our rescue yorkie, and Teenie, our 2.5lb rescue chihuahua on the cover. This month is the perfect opportunity to spoil your pets more than usual. Show them how much you love them by buying them a new toy, letting them indulge in their favorite treats, and let them know they are your heroes! Let’s be honest, there are so many animals who are unwanted, abused, or neglected. According to the ASPCA, approximately 6.3 million companion animals enter U.S. animal shelters nationwide every year. Each year, approximately 920,000 shelter animals are euthanized (390,000 dogs and 530,000 cats). So, this month could also be an opportunity to adopt from a shelter or rescue and give an animal the home and love they deserve. If you already have pets or don’t have the means to own a pet right now, you can also donate to the San Diego Humane Society.
Why Puzzle Pieces
People often ask why Puzzle Pieces uses our rescue dogs in our social media and overall brand presence. Let us explain the wonders of branding. Our
pets play such an important role in our lives. They are our children, family, and companions. Whatever purpose your little friend plays in your life, they are a part of what makes you, you. Do you know what else makes you who you are? Your brand, both personal and professional. Your brand is how you show the world who you are. So it makes perfect sense to incorporate our furry (and one not so furry) little friends into our brand.
No matter which social media platform you are scrolling through, you’ll more than likely see celebs or brands posting about their pets, and they are a huge part of their social presence. Who are we kidding - Some of these pets even have their own profiles and fans! At PPM, having a consistent brand is everything and includes our rescue furry babies. Having our pets be a part of our brand allows people to see and remember who we are and what we stand for.
This month is the perfect opportunity to spoil your pets more than usual.
