Located in the Mission Valley Mall, Mission Valley Pumpkin station is seasonal fun complete with free parking and admission. Open daily until October 31st, the Pumpkin Station includes a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, slides, a Ferris wheel, and others.
A mile-long trail that is not for the faint of heart. Located near Balboa Park, this haunted attraction features a Friday the 13th themed maze, an “IT” themed clown bus, and many other scares along the way. Unlike the previous attractions, this is not recommended for children under 10.
Located in the Gaslamp Quarter Downtown, The Haunted Hotel is San Diego’s longest running haunted house, and is notoriously terrifying. Named one of the top 13 scariest haunts in America by Haunt World Magazine this attraction is for those who truly love to be afraid. If you are looking for something a little extra, “Lights out Wednesdays” have returned so you can experience this terrifying haunted house in complete darkness.
For the first time, on October 25th the legendary Whaley House located in Old Town San Diego will be hosting a silent film marathon. They will be showing films such as “Nosferatu” and “Phantom of the Opera.” The Whaley House is home to San Diego’s first commercial theatre, and with its’ reputation for hauntedness this is sure to be a scare-filled night.
The events and attractions listed above are just a few of many seasonal activities taking place in San Diego in the upcoming weeks. With all of this fall fun, it’s hard to not get into the spirit!
